Hello, since I haven't played this record I cannot in good faith use VJM grading. Though it looks E/E- there may be more surface noise than expected.


I grade my shellac on a visual " Not play tested" scale of 1 to 10.  This one is 8.5 or better viewed under a bright unshaded bulb. There are no spindle marks on the clean labels. This leads me to believe it had very little use if any. No cracks edge chips.


These are the imperfections I'm noticing in what I feel is the order of importance. A few faint scratches the longest being about an inch. The others you have to work under a light to notice. While most of the gloss is excellent there's an area on both sides with some fade in the same location. It looks it might have sticking a few inches out of its cover and exposed to air.  These may clean up. Once again they are mostly visible under the bulb. A few small impressions from pressing that you normally find on these records. None of these marks appear on the opposite side that might suggest an inner fracture.  My last photo captures the worst impression and some of the fade line.


All that said please see my photos for these condition details. It probably needs a light cleaning for best fidelity. I offer free returns if for some reason you're not satisfied with it in person. I over pack records. Cardboard sandwich into an oversized box with filler. Fully insured. Thanks for your interest.
