Continuing the Rediscovered boxed vinyl series of Nick Drake's albums, Island Records presents his second album Bryter Layter' in a format similar to that used for the release of Pink Moon in 2012. The album itself is a near exact replica of the original 1970 release, pressed on heavyweight audiophile vinyl, and remastered at Abbey Road from master tapes by the album's original engineer John Wood. Although the first generation master tapes were found to be unusable, Wood had made a safety copy of the album in 1970 and it is from this that the new album has been struck. The vinyl comes in an Island card inner bag in a single pocket textured sleeve just as the original release would have done. In addition it is housed in a box containing a copy of the original shop poster, a smaller 'Live' poster / brochure and a reprint of Nick's handwritten set list together with reproductions of the master tape reel and tape box lids. The album comes with a selection of downloadable electronic formats, including either high-resolution files, the usual MP3 files or unique Dubbed-From-Disc files for that authentic play-back experience.

VINYL IS MINT- (PLAY TESTED ONLY PLAYED 1 TIME! CLEANED on VPI HW-17)
Cover is MINT- (Slightest Signs of Age Light General Wear. SEE PICS)

ABOUT HOW I GRADE:

LPs are graded visually and conservatively under many bright lights. Always cleaned on a Pro-Cleaner.

Questionable marks are play graded & some are play graded so I can hear them.

LPs always receive new Outside Poly Sleeve and Inner Poly Sleeve.

Still Sealed/New: 

Never opened...still in original shrinkwrap....any tears in the shrinkwrap will be noted in description.

Cannot really grade Vinyl as I have never seen it.  This is a SEALED item and AS IS SALE :)

Mint: 

VINYL-  New condition...Exactly like new, no flaws whatsoever. Nice & Shiny. 

COVER- will look like it has just been removed from shrinkwrap, or may still have most of the shrinkwrap still on it.

I rarely ever grade an LP Mint...

Mint- (Mint Minus): 

VINYL- Played once, no flaws, but a remote ever-so-slight amount of that shiny luster may be gone. 

COVER- Jacket will be virtually flawless, slightest signs of wear, maybe one bumped corner, or a hint Shrinkwrap, if still on, may have some stickers on it. Any defects or odd bits will be noted in description.

VG++: (Very Good Plus Plus). 

VINYL- This record may have some marks (very, very light scuffs or surface marks or a bit of very light paper scuffing) that may be noticed in a quieter passage. 

COVER-  It will start to show more signs of wear than a VG++ jacket, the ringwear may be slightly more evident, the edgewear or corner more defined as well. All will be detailed in above description. All will be detailed in above description.

VG+: (Very Good Plus) 

VINYL- This record will have some light marks (light scratches and light sleeve scuffs), and it might may have the slightest occasional pop or crackle in parts.  Detailed notes any any visible surface mark will be made in description.. Still really nice and I would be happy to own it.

COVER-  It will start to show more signs of wear than a VG++ jacket, the ringwear may be slightly more evident, the edgewear or corner more defined as well.

VG: (Very Good)  

VINYL- The record may have several scratches and scuffs, though aside from some popping and crackling, will still be an enjoyable listen. 

COVER- The jacket will have far more wear previous grades, such as: edgewear to the point of some light seam splits, some light ringwear (not terrible, but still distracting from the image), edge corner wear, minor writing or a few stickers, or other similar defects.

VG-: (Very Good Minus) 

VINYL- Not terrible, usually represents 1 or 2 very visible marks or scratches, might be a little sketchy in a few spots, other than that would fair as a VG record. 

COVER- The jacket will show wear - ringwear, seam should be able to be taped up for repair), some writing and/or stickers, edge and corner wear, or other similiar defects.

Good+ & Below: 

VINYL- LPs with these conditions will not be listed regularly, and will only be sold if the Title/LP is a Collectible or sought after item.  Will play but with crackle or issues.

COVER- Usually fairly wrecked.

SHIPPING NOTE:

All records shipped with the actual vinyl in a Poly 

Lined Paper/Plastic Inner Sleeve

with the LP separated from the Cover by packing for safer shipping.

LPS are shipped in Uber Super Sturdy Shipping Boxes 13X2X13" and are usually

about 2 lbs with 2 sheets of 12.75"x12.75" cardboard surrounding the LP for endurance and bubble wrap on either side.  This is THE ONLY WAY I SHIP.
