"Bryter Layter", second Lp by NICK DRAKE and released in 1970 on the legendary Island label. This is the extremely rare U.K. ORIGINAL FIRSTPRESSING with catnumber ILPS 9134, "Pink Rim" (Or "Palm-Tree") Island label, the matrix numbers A-1U/B-1U and the completely TEXTURED cover.Vinyl is professional cleaned with V.P.I. record cleaning-machine and completely audio-checked: The shiny vinyl looks just very good+, has a couple of slight surface hairlines, but NO deep scratches, plays fantastic: except a few very slight crackeling parts, you hear nothing, plays partly even up to near mint, NO loud klicks, so I will give a excellent for the vinyl (Ex). The very sensitive textured Robor Ltd.cover is in clean excellent(Ex)condition too, without tape, tears, writing, seamsplit or other damages, shows just very light wear at the seams and the corners, one seam shows a bit stronger seamwear. A overall EXCELLENT copy. A FANTASTIC Singer/Songwriter work, absolutely UNIQUE sound, has all what a TIMELESS album needs (FOLK-CLASSICAL-ACID influences, and alternate instruments like FLUTE,VIOLA, HARPSICHORD, SAX, PIANO, ORGAN, as well as BRILLIANT MELODIES&HARMONIES), A MUST like the both other releases by this great&fragile artist.....................
