Description

Clearing more shelves after downsizing and now it's time to move on some of the vinyl collection. None of these have been played for many years but they have always been cared for and stored upright. When they were played it was on good quality equipment. Some were bought second hand but from good record shops. These days I do not have the equipment set up and unfortunately my aged ears are not what they were so up to date description of their audio state is not possible however I will try to give a good visual appraisal of the discs and covers.

Here for sale is a 1969 1st press of Nick Drake's Five Leaves Left. I was surprised to see that this was quite a collectible album, I certainly love it and will keep the CD. This copy is a first press with the pink label and the error in the track listings. The cover is solid with no tears but does have some edge wear and a little rubbing to the front which I have tried to show in the photos. The main parts of the four sides are good. The inner sleeve is fine. There is very little spindle wear to the labels which are both in good condition. Again there are close ups for you to view. The disc itself appears in good condition with no major wear but has light surface wear. I will repeat I cannot vouch for the audio quality due to hearing loss and lack of equipment.

Please take a good look at all the photos as they are an important part of the auction details. Feel free to ask any relevant questions before bidding.

Shipping is free within the UK and will be insured and signed for so please make sure someone can receive the parcel. I will not be shipping this one overseas.

Have fun!

Please look at all the photos which show the labels and the  sleeve. I believe the pink label is the 2nd version for the first pressing of the record as the first label also had the track listing error that is on the sleeve. The record itself is a little dusty and I haven't attempted any cleaning. Further examination of the record still shows surface wear but nothing major, no gouges or obvious places where skipping or jumping might occur.
