Description

NICK DRAKE : Five Leaves Left LP (Antilles [USA] AN-7010) 1976.

Jacket is VG+ due to fairly pronounced ring wear. Record is EX.

From a large single-owner collection (see our other auctions for more from the same collection). The previous owner made a habit of taping his LPs as he bought them and only playing the tapes to preserve the condition of his vinyl. So, most of the records we are listing from this collection are either Excellent or Near Mint even in cases where the jackets are not. We regret that he didn’t store his records in outer sleeves and that he added his name to many of the records which has led to some wear and lower grades to jackets of otherwise NM records. Better than the other way around though! See each record description for condition specifics.

This plays Near Mint but there are a few visible superficial marks on the vinyl so we graded it EX. Very clean 1st US pressing of Nick Drake’s amazing 1969 debut. This does not appear to have been played very much (don’t let the jacket ringwear fool you).
