Nick Drake Fruit Tree 4LP The Complete Works Hannibal HNBX 5302, 1979 ISLAND RECORD / 1986 Hannibal Records Ltd

Including Five Leaves Left, Bryter Later. Pink Moon & Time of No Reply etc.
 
The Above box set is harder to find that the more common 3LP Box set by Island from 1979 that has a blue box and has records from 1969 to 1972 this set was using the Orignal island Credit along wit some more Tracks that where not Issued at the time of the the first box set and came with a booklet and Time of No Reply his last record with 10 Previously unreleased Recordings that make up this box set.

Its a nice set with a good Use of Orignal Pressings and New Vinyl to bring you the Best Records in One Package and in Nice clean Condtion. 


Cover
 The Cover is a Box of course but will list as if we are talking in the terms of the whole Package so Inner Sleeves listed along with Package.

The outside Box is very clean as shown from my Scans there was a little light Foxing most noted to the Left hand side of the Box just going around onto the Track Listing on the back, the Back is mainly Black with only a very small 5CM Area of Colour where the Records Tracks are listed the rest of the back is Clean with only very light signs of wear shows Orignal Import Sticker. The Spine has faded a little and again few spot of Foxing but all Text is viewable and looking good  The other three edges are good with a little light dirt on the right hand side, The Corners are Worn in Three areas and these are very slightly Damaged what I mean by this is that there Split along the Centre of Corner on the top edge and again at the Bottom Corner this means that top edge is a little raised as its split along the side edge.  VG/VG+

I haven't scanned the whole package as shown from my scan but everything will be listed don't worry.

Booklet Clean no stains or damage light signs of use over the years but very nice. EX

All Four Record come in there own Orignal Artwork Paper Inner Sleeve and are numbers on the back with Records 1-4

Five Leaves Left  Clean with a very small Spit to the right hand edge 4cm in total where the disc has opened the edge a little but otherwise no other splits there is the Track listing on the back and there is a few stains along the left hand side other wise fine. VG

Bryter Later Bottom has split 5CM total where the disc has pushed through the paper otherwise clean with no stains or other damage VG+

Pink Moon Bottom has Split 5CM in total again the disc has pushed through the paper again no Stains or other damage. VG+

Time of No Reply this has no Split and clean on the back with only one small mark next to Fly Track listing. Ex

Record/Vinyl

I have Checked all four discs with Care both sides as shown here.

Clean no marks to view no Scratches or hairlines looking almost as new very nice clean copy. M-

Bryter Later

Clean copy no marks to view no scratches or other damage looking glossy and clean. M-

Pink Moon

Clean record with a few very light paper marks just viewable under strong still very clean and no Scratches or other marks. M-

Time of no Reply

Clean with no scratches there is one tiny Hairline visible on one otherwise clean and glossy. EX

Labels

All Eight Sides show little spindle marks hence played very little.

Playback

The records Play nice and clean with a little crackle at the start and Run-ins to Text track but over all nice copies all four sides show little damage and play nice.

PLEASE NOTE I DON”T USE “MINT” MY HIGHEST GRADE IS NEAR MINT OR M-

(M) Rarely used unless Item is still un-open new. Mainly for new or Re-issue Records

(M-) OR NEAR MINT (A Fantastic Collector Copy)
Very Clean Item with little signs of use, looking almost as new both sides clean with No Scratches
or Surface marks there might be odd Paper marks. Should any copy fail to meet this grade I Prefer to list
down a grade but I always provide sufficient information.

(Ex) (Collector Copy)
 The Record has clearly been Played shows some signs of enjoyment, Strong Copy Retaining Full Crisp sound.
Might be odd surface Line or Few Very Minor hairline marks or a few Scuffs. Playback would Still Be Ace with
no Playback Issues.

(EX-) OR (VG+) (Good Keeper Copy)
This Grade means that the copy may have slightly more signs of use but would always have Good Crisp sound.
It might have extra paper marks or Few Hairlines or even an odd Scratch this would not be Audible unless said
and how the Scratches affects the Record would clearly be listed.

(VG) (KEEPER COPY)
The Item has clearly been played many times but Despite Visual Marks Like Hair lines or Scratches and Some
Surface marks. The Sound Still Retains Good playback, if there is a scratch that Sounds I clearly indicate
where it occurs and how it affects the track playing time.

When I use a Grade less than VG it would normally be due to a record being very rare or a sleeve that I feel
does not fit with VG due to Repairs or damage mostly records under VG are Only Fit for the Bin. But if you
are unsure just ask.
