VERY RARE UK VINYL LP RECORD

- FORMAT: 2-DISC, 18-TRACK, MONO, BLACK VINYL, 12-INCH, 33rpm, LP.
- FIRST PRESS. THE RECORD INCLUDES A BOOKLET TITLED "TEACHER'S NOTES".
- YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971.
- COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE: UNITED KINGDOM.
- SLEEVE DESIGN: GATEFOLD SLEEVE. LAMINATED FRONT. LAMINATED REAR.

CONDITION IN DETAIL:
The sleeve is in nice condition, with some minor faults. There is acceptable edge and corner wear and some of the glue that holds the inner and outer part of the sleeve together has dried out causing the sleeve to come apart in places. There is no writing and no major faults. The spine is strong and other than the glue issue mentioned there is no other problem with the structure of the sleeve. A few marks on the sleeve but nothing of major note. Overall, It's doing well for nearly 50 years old.
The vinyl has a few minor marks and scratches on both discs. It is worth noting that the content is a mixture of poetry, songs and other recordings. Some of these play better than others possibly due to the nature of what the actual source audio was like. As mentioned it was intended to be a resource for schools. Generally there is some background crackle / surface sound on the audio. This possibly could be improved by a good professional clean of the vinyl. I don't know how much of the crackle is simply due to it's age and how much of it is down to the quality of the original pressing.
It is worth noting the history of this LP is that it was designed for and made available to schools, mainly through mail order. As such not many were ever pressed, probably in the hundreds at most.

The Teacher's notes booklet included with this LP is rare & not always present with sales of this LP. It is in excellent condition.
