This is a UK first press copy with matrix numbers ILPS 9134 A - 1U and ILPS 9134 B - 1U. The stampers are 1G, 1G indicating a genuine early first press copy.

The vinyl is fanatastic with NO MARKS visible even under bright angled light. Even better this LP PLAYS LIKE BRAND NEW. There is ABSOLUTELY NO LESSENING IN SOUND QUALITY.  The recording level of this LP is quiet and therefore it is vital that there are no background pops, crackle or worse. There is NO background noise at all - you will not find a better sounding or looking copy of this LP. The PINK RIM PALM TREE labels are perfect. Overall this LP grades MINT for the vinyl and labels.

The cover is also great - graded EX. This textured cover is notoriously fragile and prone to rubbing and wear. This one has no creases, no surface wear, no ring wear with straight edges and spine. There is however a little edge wear and therefore this is reflected in the grade.

OVERALL THIS IS THE BEST COPY OF THIS LP I HAVE SEEN FOR MANY YEARS AND IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT.

Please note that unless the play quality is specifically mentioned records are graded visually. I aim to describe the visual appearance of all items accurately using the standards below which are based on the UK Record Collector Price Guide. The highest grade I use now is NEAR MINT ('UNPLAYED' if still sealed in shrink wrap). Records graded EX+ or EX++ would probably be called 'near mint' or 'mint' by most sellers. Please READ THE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. I will refund only on items which do not conform to the description and standards set out here.

GRADING SYSTEM

NEAR MINT: The record appears to be in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and other inserts are perfect.

EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.

VERY GOOD: The record has been played quite alot but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover and contents show some wear.

GOOD:The record has been played many times and the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are often damaged.

I use EX++,EX+,VG++,VG+ as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG in condition.
