Description

666deil Store

Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. I never ever use 'MINT' unless I have play tested the album and it is as new or it is sealed. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

I am happy to post any where in the world, but only if the buyer is willing to pay for it to be fully insured and tracked in some way. I only use cruciform mailers with double stiffeners and 'bubble wrap'.

SO HERE WE GO......

ARTIST.................. NICK DRAKE

TITLE.................... BRYTER LAYTER

CATALOGUE No.. ILPS  9134   STEREO VERY FIRST UK PRESSING

MATRIX NoS........ Side 1. ILPS   9134 A - 1 U     Side 2.  ILPS   9134 B -  1 U    STAMPERS... SIDE 1.  1G    SIDE2.  1H

FORMAT.............. LP BLACK VINYL

LABLE.................. ISLAND (PINK RIM)

YEAR....................1970

SLEEVE......... NON-GATEFOLD, TEXTURED and UN- LAMINATED. It is in VERY GOOD condition showing moderate wear.   It is quite flat and square. The bottom edge is VG+, the top edge is also in VG+ condition with some wear but not worn through. The front is EX- with NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS  AND NO STAINING and LIGHT SURFACE RUB and LIGHT CREASES and a couple of scuffs. The rear  is in EX- condition with very light ring wear. The opening edges  are in EX condition with no tears and no feathering. The spine Is good and you are just able to read the information due to wear. The tips of the corners show wear. All in all this is in wonderful condition for a sleeve of this age.EX-

DISK LABELS.....There is NO staining, stickers, residue or tears. there are very light spindle marks on each side and a small neat name on side 2. MINT / EX-.

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see very faint surface hair lines which are very light and caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty deep scratches or marks. In normal daylight this album looks PRISTINE. Both sides play WITHOUT DISTORTION, CLICKS OR JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all. There are dust crackles, they can be heard only in the quiet parts and the run in and run out parts. This really is a great copy in LIGHT played condition that any collector or investor would be delighted to add to their collection.  EX/ EX(if not better)

A GREAT ALBUM AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION,

DO NOT MISS THIS, IT COULD BE YOUR ONE AND ONLY CHANCE.
