Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have also collected some real 'prog' gems on other collected labels, such as Charisma, Dawn, RCA Neon, Island, Dandelion, Philips, Liberty etc... and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this, and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is--NICK DRAKE--FIVE LEAVES LEFT-- UK ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH VERY FIRST PRESSING SLEEVE, ON THE  PINK ISLAND LABEL.  STEREO ILPS 9105

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and UN-LAMINATED. This sleeve is in lovely condition, It is a GENUINE VERY FIRST PRESSING. This is anexcellent copy of this sleeve. It is very flat and square. The colour is very strong and vibrant. The edges are EX with NO SPLITS and very little wear.The spine is fully legible with some  light creasing. The front is EX with very light rubbing to the surface which has not worn through the surface and some light creasing, NO WRITING, NO STICKERS , NO STICKER TEARS OR GLUE RESIDUE AND NO STAINS . The rear  is in the same wonderful condition. NO RINGWEAR. The opening edges are in EX+ condition,there is the smallest amount of feathering to only one of the four.. The only other signs of wear are to the tips of the corners and top and bottom of the spine. All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 37year old sleeve. EX

LABELS......This is a genuine first pressing,THIS IS THE RAREST AND EARLIEST PRESSING OF THESE LABELS WITH THE TRACKS LISTED IN AN INCORRECT ORDER,(SEE PICTURES,you can see that one picture is of the mispressed album label and the other is of the more common later corrected pressing) BOTH SIDES ARE IN WONDERFUL CONDITION WITH NO STICKERS, STAINS, WRITING OR STAINS AND ONLY LIGHT SPINDLE MARKS. EX+/EX+

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. As for surface marks, when you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can only see very light surface marks NO DEEP SCRATCHES. This album looks PRISTINE in normal day light. Both sides play WITHOUT SCRATCHES, STICKING OR JUMPS. There are dust crackles but I am sure a professional clean would sort out most of that. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK."WHAT AGREAT ALBUM THIS IS" and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation. This is a superb album in the most wonderful of conditions. These HEAVY VINYL origional pressings are second to none. This really is a top copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER.EX+/EX+. "STUNNING".

  THIS IS THE DEFINITIVE FIRST PRESSING OF THIS BRILLIANT MASTERPIECE AND RARELY SEEN WITH THE MISPRESSED LABEL.
