*** Some albums I haven't played in years are graded with high intensity light which shows all the marks on the Vinyl..( doesn't effect play) Most you can't see but I do rate them a little lower, but you are still getting a quality album...

NEAR MINT -(NM) ~ Looks as if it were new and possibly played very lightly. May have some very light surface visible flaws, but wont affect play
EXCELLENT~(EX) These records will show some light wear such as soft marks or scratches. However the marks are superficial for the most part should not affect the quality of the sound too much. A Excellent record will play with little surface noise (if any) and will have a great listening experience. Jacket may have 2-3 of the following: light ring wear, wear on the corners/ seams, small names, stickers, notch/ corner cuts, creases, and light discoloration. Labels may have spindle marks, small writing such as initials, and small stickers.
VERY GOOD+ (VG+) ~ Shows signs of wear, some scuffs or scratches may be present but they should not affect much . Not scratches or marks should you feel with fingernail. Covers/Jackets may have some of the following: ring -wear, split seams up to 3/4" to 1-1/2", writing, ink marks, water marks, tape/stickers, names, corner cuts, notches or hole punches . Labels follow under the same guide lines.

Vinyl may make popping or clicking noises mostly during the start of the record. Some of the scratches can be felt with a fingernail. GOOD PLUS +(G+)~ Vinyl will have significant more wear from handling, shuffling, Vinyl surface has more noise that you may be able to hear in most parts of the record. Vinyl may have more popping or clicking noises mostly during the start of the record. The Covers/Jackets will have more severe cases of writing, ink marks, water marks, tape/stickers, names, covers may have split seams from 1 to 3 sides 3-5" in length. Record Labels follow under the same guide lines.
