NICKY BEAT & THE BEATNIKS - I Can Hear Voices/Split Second Love/Starstruck (Rigid Records IS/BEAT/1033) UK 7" single PS + poster 1978
One of the holy grails of the new wave collectors market, this was released in 1978 in a pressing of 500 copies.
This copy is taken directly from the private collection of one of the band members, and comes complete with not only the rare outsized hand made sleeve, but also the scarce A4 poster that was only included in a few copies.
It rarely comes up for sale, and never before with the provenance of this copy.
Condition:
vinyl: The record has never been played, it is an unplayed copy from the private collection of the singer in the band. There are no spindle marks, it retains the original sheen.
cover: The hand collated cover is excellent+ with very superficial signs of storage, there is a small smudge at the bottom of the back cover (see separate picture)
poster: The A4 poster is neatly folded, which was done in 1978 in order for it to fit inside the sleeve. There is a small smudge on the poster (see separate picture), otherwise it is excellent condition.
