on the Original 1967 IMMEDIATE RECORDS IM 045


This is an historic collectible, especially in this condition and on this ORIGINAL ISSUE.
A collectible gem indeed here, for several reasons too; On Andrew Loog Oldham's 'IMMEDIATE' lable, this was a Rolling Stones original track that was given a treatment by Nicky Scott to try and gain another Stones' hit song.
However, even with the golden hands of Mick Jagger assisting on production it flopped completely!
He had previous successes with Marianne Faithful and Chris Farlowe covering Jagger/Richard songs, but this really did sink without trace.
Also vaunted because there are several completists making a point of getting every Immediate single issued - and this one is TOUGH to find a copy of! I have had the Australian Playboys, Murray Head, Clifford T. Ward and both Fleur De Lys singles, but this one was as difficult to trace as any of the above.
Anyway - a decent version of an excellent track, so worthwhile musically too (which is the main thing).
Snag a rare one here - it's also in rather nice condition too.


The vinyl grades VG++/EX, with a couple of light scuff marks
Lables are bright and clean NM-
