Note : musica di Nico Fidenco, orchestra diretta da Willy Brezza (non accreditato); con la partecipazione dei Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni.  Un buona lavoro quello di Fidenco che dimostra di aver ben appreso la lezione musicale di Ennio Morricone. Rilevante è pure l'apporto di Alessandro Alessandroni, al di là della presenza del suo Coro, per i particolari accorgimenti ed effetti che troviamo ascoltando il disco. Musica che non può abbandonare i tipici canoni dei western nostrani ma svolta con bella personalità. Temi allegri, drammatici, epici e romantici si alternano efficacemente. Tra i brani mi piace ricordare " LUNGO IL FIUME ", dalle atmosfere cupe evidenziate dal suono del cembalo, effetti distorsivi e intervento di chitarra elettrica, " TOTA PULCHRA ES MARIA ", un tema d'intensa religiosità con le voci maschili del coro che intonano un canto Gregoriano, " FUGA IN CARROZZA " dal ritmo incalzante che perfettamente simula una galoppata. La canzone " BALLATA DI JOHN " è interpretata da S. Moriones in Spagnolo dopo una breve introduzione parlata in Italiano. 11 brani.

Notes : music Nico Fidenco, orchestra Willy Brezza (uncredited); features I Cantori Moderni di Alessandroni. Indeed an excellent score by Fidenco who shows to have well learnt the music lesson of his Ennio Morricone. It is also remarkable the precious assistance of Alessandro Alessandroni - beyond the presence of his chorus - for the special arrangements and effects spread on this record. The score could not drop the typical spaghetti western sounds even though with a very personal development. Drama, joy, epical adventure, sentimentalism alternate. Among the tunes I like to mention " LUNGO IL FIUME " plenty of dark atmospheres underlined by the harpsichord, distorted sound effects and the presence of the electric guitar, " TOTA PULCHRA ES MARIA ", a spiritual theme with the male members of the chorus performing a Gregorian chant, " FUGA IN CARROZZA " based on hectic pace which perfectly feigns a wild gallop. The song " BALLATA DI JOHN " is performed by S. Moriones in Spanish after a short spoken introduction in Italian. 11 tracks.
