Unusual, soft porn soundtrack with an afro hippie / trashy exotic 'je ne sais quoi' in the production. Strange pop music from the sexploitation classic, Emanuelle Negra aka Black Emanuelle. A cult 1975 b-movie set in Kenya, directed by master of sleaze Albert Thomas aka Adalberto Bitto Albertini and starring Laura Gemser in her first role as Emanuelle. Mood Music by Nico Fidenco with orchestra arrangements by Giacomo Dell'Orso aka Lindok the husband of Edda Dell'Orso ;) Seedy lounge and obsessive funky themes with a peculiar druggy atmosphere or weirdo spaghetti western influence. A crossover sound that Fidenco perfected with subtle use of electronics - Putney EMS VC3 synth - harpsichord / strings / african percussion / oddball beats and tribal rhythms / strung-out disco sounds / languid fuzzy rock and wah wah guitars / flute / scat chorus and other freaky voices / jungle noises et al. Pretty bugged-out and eccentric so we've recorded several themes :) Great for DJs! Disc cut loud with primitive production. Striking sleeve artwork showing the lead actress front and with Karin Schubert on the back. Our copy is the Spanish promo issue ;)
