This is the original candian pressing of a great debut from the great canadian free music collective on the Allied record label, supposedly a limited edition of 100 copies(you might believe this, if you think how scarcely this one shows up)!! The Nihilist Spasm Band played only with homemade or unusual instruments, which they used to build themselves, in this album they make also use of the theremin. The result is one of the weirdest albums of all times!! NSB released 3 vinyls, one in 1968, one in 1978 and one in 1986. This album is featured in the Nurse with wound list of influences and was notated on the original list as the basic influence! Also on the Hans Pokora 3001 book with 4 stars. A BIG MUST!!
Cover lies in vg- condition, big split on spine, cut-out, wear, while the vinyl is graded fair with lots of marks that make playing a painful experience. If it wasn't so rare, a copy like this would be considered a starter's copy, but since it's sooooo rare, i believe even a hardcore collector shouldn't pass it up...
