FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS I'LL BE LISTING LPs FROM A SMALL BUT HIGH QUALITY COLLECTION OF LATE 1960s AND VERY EARLY 1970s LPs I RECENTLY PURCHASED.
This is a DELUXE PROMOTIONAL BOX SET FOR THE 1967 HARRY NILSSON LP TITLED 'PANDEMONIUM SHADOW SHOW' (sometimes referred to as 'The True One'). It is a stereo RCA Victor Records LP, catalog number LSP-3874.
This custom PROMO ONLY box set includes a button, balloon, stickers, Nilsson fan club card, three press releases, and promotional photos of Nilsson,as shown in my accompanying image.

Condition of record is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Condition of album cover is VG+ with the only real flaw being a couple of very small light mildew stains at the bottom left corner of the cover, album cover is otherwise in nice NM- condition, with its stock RCA Victor inner sleeve being in real ince condition with no splits or tears. Box set outside of the album cover has some condition issues and is in overall VG condition -- The paper hinge that originally attached the top cover of the box to its bottom is torn apart, and the top cover is no longer attached to the bottom box; the top cover of the box has two torn corners. From what I can see I also believe the balloon included with this set has degraded over the course of time and has resulted in the front page of the press kit, which is located inside a compartment inside the front cover, being stuck to what remains of the balloon and the compartment inside the front cover - I have not wanted to try to force the press kit to unstick and come loose for fear of further damaging it, I will leave it to the buyer of this box set to try to free up the press kit, perhaps using some Goo Gone might do the trick, it will dry without leaving any sort of stain on the press kit. One bottom corner of the inside of the box and one small area at the bottom edge of the album cover also have small brown mildew stains; the inner box also has a little wear and some light stains from exposure to moisture in this area. Everything else inside the box is in nice condition. This RARE PROMO ONLY BOX SET would be a choice addition to any Nilsson or classic rock record collection!
