NINA SIMONE - FOLKSY NINA
COLPIX LABEL 1964 ORIGINAL FIRST UK MONO PRESSING WITH GARROD & LOFTHOUSE FRONT LAMINATED FLIP BACK SINGLE SLEEVE IN NEAR MINT CONDITION. SO HARD TO FIND AS A UK ISSUE.

Released in 1964 on the gold COLPIX label, I am offering today this hard to find original MONO first UK pressing of this rare album from the late NINA SIMONE which was recorded live at Carnegie Hall in 1963. The album is titled "FOLKSY NINA". The vinyl is in very clean near mint condition and plays with excellent audio. Absolutely no sticks or skips etc. This album is so hard to find as a UK issue unlike its US counterpart.
The album comes complete with its original Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flip back single sleeve which is in excellent condition. This would be hard to upgrade. it has a few laminate creases but overall is clean with no splits, or unwanted writing etc and has sharp edges and a fully legible spine and has its original record shop sticker on the top flip back from where it was originally purchased at THE RECORD CENTRE 143 HOLLOWAY RD LONDON N7. Otherwise a clean and collectible example that would be hard to upgrade.
The VINYL, The vinyl is in very clean near mint condition and plays with excellent audio No sticks or skips etc.
The SLEEVE, The front laminated flip back single sleeve is in very clean condition with no splits or unwanted writing etc with an original record shop sticker on the back.
The LABELS, The first issue gold Colpix labels are very clean, with no stickers or unwanted writing etc.
The INNER, The generic inner is clean and free from unwanted writing or stickers etc but has started to split.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
