This very collectable first pressing is STUNNING!  The clarity, definition and warmth on both sides is incredible and this has to be the cleanest copy I have ever heard.  I cannot emphasise enough just how impressive the audio is!  S1 is superb but S2 goes one better and grades as Mint- all the way through with no intrusion whatsoever.  S1 is very close to that with just the one dull click sound but aside from that it really cannot be faulted.  This is in my opinion my favourite album of theirs because there are so many great melodies and musicianship is first class and of course it helps when the clarity of sound is as precise as this.  The vinyl is in lovely condition also and it has clearly hardly ever been played.
The fully laminated cover is in excellent shape and the only 'real' wear are a couple of laminate creases on the front but that's not a major issue of course.  The plain white 'Patents Applied For' inner is also in fantastic condition.

Visual description
The vinyl is in lovely condition and still has a fine glossy sheen with no marks or scratches.  Under a strong bright light I can only see a small number of faint hairlines and a handful of tiny 'specks'.  There is no groove or surface wear and the textured labels are more or less perfect with no marking and barely any spindle wear, you have to look very closely to see any and even then I'm not sure it's spindle wear!
Play grading
The intro on the classic 'Rainbow Chaser' is close to perfect with only two seconds of very light static at the very start, you hardly notice it!  The opening vocal plays with exceptional clarity and warmth and the first chorus is just as impressive.  The next vocal has only a couple of barely audible statics and one light static tick and the second and final chorus could not play any better.  The fade out has no background either.  Quintessentially English despite their Irish / Greek background!  This is the first known track to feature phasing all the way through and it sounds so clear and precise here, it really is a superb version.  I'll say Near Mint but it's fair to say 99% is better than that!
'Tiny Goddess' is a much longer track and yet it plays with stunning quality from start to finish.  The gentle intro plays with sublime clarity and Campbell-Lyons' first vocal is of the same high end standard.  The more it progresses the more I am blown away by the sonic quality on offer here.  There is literally nothing getting in the way of the audio.  Just listen to the instrumental break not far from the end for a perfect example of that.  Every vocal passage plays with STUNNING precision and the almost choral like section at the end is filled with clarity and warmth!  Certainly a Mint- version and one of my favourite tracks also - so quaint and melodic...
The intro on 'The Touchables (All Of Us)' is flawless and the opening vocal has just one quiet dull click at the start.  The following chorus is 'as new' and I can confidently say the rest of the track is equal to that.  They made such good use of the band they 'hired' for this album, musically it is so strong - harpsichord, Hammond organ, cellos you name it and vocally it is superb also.  Aside from the one dull click this is Mint but I will have to say Near Mint- accordingly.  A stunning version nonetheless and so far this album has no underlying static at all.
'Melanie Blue' more than keeps up the exemplary standard.  The opening section, a handful of barely audible statics but they really do not need a mention.  This is another example of a vinyl so well preserved and their baroque style music plays beautifully throughout.  Mint-
With complete silence in the dead wax - par for the course now - the acoustic intro on 'Trapeze' is 'as new' and the opening vocal is the same.  The chorus again has zero intrusion and it continues to play with a clarity, warmth and definition that is second to none.  I cannot believe how clearly this classic album is playing - there is no 'muddiness' to the sound and no distortion.  Yes I'm a fan of the band but it's rare to find clarity such as this.  The remainder is just as strong and clear and the fade out is crystal clear also.  This has to grade as Mint
The delicate intro on 'The Show Must Go On' plays beautifully and again the instrumentation is stunning.  It has that feel of a 70s TV theme tune but a good one!  A couple of mega quiet statics that is all but to all intents and purposes you cannot fault this instrumental.  They sure knew how to write good tunes!  Every section here plays with impeccable precision and Mint- is very much deserved.  Is the minus really necessary?!

The intro on 'Girl In The Park' has no interference, just one minor static, and the jaunty opening vocal section plays to perfection.  The chorus is perfect as is the instrumental bridge.  The next verse / chorus and seriously has this record ever been played before?!  I just cannot get over the clarity of sound!!  From then on 'as new' is more than fair - ok a couple of very light statics at the end of the fade out so I will say Mint-   'Miami Masquerade' plays with genuine quality through every section.  As you can see I'm running out of superlatives by this point!  I will try and not repeat myself!  A vocally driven track even the 'spoken' type vocal in the middle section is faultless and the closing 'vocal' plays with wonderful warmth and depth and no background.  Mint
'Frankie The Great' is so close to that high end grade but I will say Mint- because there are 3/4 very quiet background statics on the opening vocal and a handful during the mid 'vocal' which are arguably even quieter!  However, as I often say I mention any background even if 100% non-intrusive which this is.  It is incredibly quiet!  Mint-   The opening vocal on 'You Can Try It' is perfect and this level is prevalent throughout.  Did George Michael get inspiration from this track?  If you know you know, I mean there is the Greek connection!  The clarity here again is out of this world, I have never heard this track play with such stunning precision.  The quieter mid vocal for example is just phenomenal.  Wow just wow!  This is Mint all day long - impressive for a relatively quiet track.
The quirky 'Everybody Loves The Clown' plays with outstanding quality through every vocal and instrumental section.  they were such an original band.  Even using Alvin etc as inspiration ha ha!  Mint
The piano led intro on 'St. John's Wood Affair' plays perfectly and the opening vocal is just as strong.  The depth on the audio here is superb - rare you could say as it is the final track.  The clarity is unrivalled also and once again I am awe-struck by the sonic quality on offer here.  The quiet mid instrumental is as close to perfect as you find, a couple of barely audible statics that is all.  The next vocal is flawless and the next instrumental just has a couple of minor statics but for a final track the audio quality is STUNNING.  There is no inner groove distortion and the remainder has no intrusion whatsoever and the closing sax solo is a prime example of that, not even a dust tick.  This has to grade as Mint- and wow what an album!  As stated it has to be the most 'complete' version I have ever listened to.
The Laminated Cover & Inner Sleeve
This cover is in excellent condition with only minimal wear.  The edges are so clean and the thin pinched spine has no marking / wear either.  All corners are in superb shape with very little wear and the opening edge is immaculate.  The front cover is unmarked and it has only a couple of laminate creases next to the spine and another near the bottom edge, there is no actual damage.  The back cover is very impressive also with only a small number of white 'specks' near the bottom edge and a little laminate 'lift' next to the spine.  A fine example overall.
The plain white die-cut inner sleeve has no side splits or tears and no marking either.  Just a very minor touch of fading down one edge perhaps.  There is also very little creasing.

I will only send items items worldwide via tracked shipping.  This provides 'peace of mind' in case of loss or damage.  The shipping costs are shown below and combined shipping is always offered.  Any over-payment will always be refunded.

The Royal Mail only insure up to a value of £250 so if an item sells for more it may be wise to use a courier service (e.g. Parcelforce or DPD).  An extra insurance premium will be required but I will not know the exact amount until the final sale price is known.  Because of this I will sometimes have to estimate the cost and this will be shown in the listing.  Please wait for the invoice before making payment and if you have any questions please feel free to ask.  Many thanks.

All vinyls are packaged in strong over-sized custom made mailers with plenty of extra cardboard protection.  They are placed inside separate poly-lined inners outside the cover so as to avoid seam splits in transit and then placed inside a PVC sleeve to provide even more protection.  I pride myself on my high quality packaging as my feed confirms and if any customer has any specific requirements I am more than happy to help.

The mailers I use cost £1.00 each and I will use anything between 3-5 cardboard stiffeners which cost approx £0.18 each.  There is also the cost of the poly-lined inner and PVC sleeve to consider, it all adds up!  Not forgetting that eBay take 10% of the shipping fee also!!
