Original issue of this classic LP. This is the 1st UK edition on highly limited white vinyl. There was only 300 of these made, even less than the 1st edition US versions (1000 I think) and is highly rare, especially in this condition. There are fake copies of this record going around but these are easy to spot, especially the long run off. Cover is in excellent/very good condition. Stored within PVC sleeve (will include with sale). With very light handling marks (it is a very old record). No grime or discolouration at the opening either. It is only really let down by one slight defect on the middle bottom edge as shown in the photo. I believe (you will need to check this yourself) that the black vinyl versions (i.e. the 2nd pressing Tupelo) of this record has identical covers. Black 2nd pressings are easy to find in mint condition, and pretty cheap, too so I would suggest buying one and swopping covers and selling the black one on - if you want all round perfection that is!
Condition of the vinyl is the key here and this record looks spotless; no visible marks at all when held up to a light. I have not played it in donkey's years, and barely played it when I did. I do not have LP player any more, but I will play test this on a friends player prior to sending out in the post. Based on the visual inspection and taking account of the age of the record, I would describe the vinyl as excellent/near mint - a truly stunning example of this hard to fund LP.
