Description
You're bidding on a RARE Australian-only pressing of NIRVANA's seminal debut album Bleach on translucent BLUE vinyl. This record was released in 1989 on the Australian label Waterfront Records, which was the exclusive distributor of all Sub Pop records put out "Down Under." These releases were printed with a variety of colors and sleeves, and each color variety is allegedly limited to 500 copies each. However, according to the owner of Waterfront, accurate records were not really kept. In my experience, the BLUE vinyl is seen a bit more often than some other colors, but this was a very limited release no matter how you look at it.

Unlike the silver and black scheme of the US releases, this Waterfront release has "Nirvana" and "Bleach" in blue text on the front cover, and the back cover is solid blue with black text. This record is used, and the sleeve shows some signs of shelf wear. The corners are slightly rounded, and the white understock can be seen along the bottom and spine edge. There is a small seam split along the top (about 1 1/2" inches) where the top of the record has worn through. There are some small creases along the spine from handling. All of these imperfections were present when I got the record. The vinyl itself is in excellent shape, with no visible flaws, scratches, or scuffs.
On the following scale: Poor > Fair > Good > Very Good > Excellent > Near Mint > Mint
I would rate the sleeve as GOOD to VERY GOOD
I would rate the record as NEAR MINT
It is still in very, very good condition and I have handled with care while it has been in my possession. Please ask if you need any further clarification on the condition of this record.
The catalogue number is "DAMP114." The matrix numbers are handwritten and as follows:
Side A: DMX 71211 ®2AC (The "A" is scratched out)
Side B: DMX 71212 ®2C
