Description

NIRVANA - BBC IN CONCERT SHOW No. 666

Brilliant copy of this scarce limited edition BBC Transcription Services in concert live from The Paradiso Club, Amsterdam, November 1991, CN 6666/S

 Matrix Numbers :

Side 1   BBC - 666 - A - 1

Side 2   BBC - 666 - B - 1

The condition of the vinyl is EXCELLENT+. No scratches, no scuffs, no hairlines...both sides of this marble effect clear vinyl appear pristine.

Each label is near perfect. Impossible to fault apart from a very faint, small spindle trace on each label adjacent to the centre hole.

The audio quality is stunning, with the only blemishes I could notice being some slight background crackle in the dead wax area prior to track 1 commencement on side 1 and two small, just audible, clicks on side 1 track 6 (though I could find no reason for these two clicks upon vinyl inspection. A superb listen throughout with great tone and clarity, even at higher volume and on the higher frequencies.

The outer sleeve and accompanying A4 press release are each excellent+ with no blemishes of note.

The tracks are :

Side 1 :

1. SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT

2. DRAIN YOU

3. ANEURYSM

4. SCHOOL

5. FLOYD THE BARBER

6. ABOUT A GIRL

7. POLY

Side 2 :

1. LYTHIUM

2. SLIVER

3. BREED

4. BEEN A SON

5. NEGATIVE CREEP

6. ON A PLAIN

7. BLEW

8. LOVE BUZZ

Comes in plain white poly-lined inner sleeve which has no tears or splits and remains fully functional.

In summary, a brilliant copy of this rare and sought after BBC limited issue in concert rock classic

If you require any further information, including photos, then let me know and I'll do my best to oblige.

If this record interests you then take a look at my other listings for more 50's, 60's and 70's classic vinyl.

A bit about myself : I have been collecting vinyl for more than 48 years and have amassed a huge collection covering a varied genre, but mostly of 1960's and 70's origin. Most of my records were originally bought by myself for my own collection, but over the years I have embellished my collection by buying records from a variety of sources : friends/acquaintances, car boots, auctions, and even through putting up a "vinyl wanted" notice in my wife's shop! I never intended selling any of my records but now I am retired and a combination of space requirements (caused partly by duplication) and a need to help fund my retirement has prompted me to "rationalise" my record collection and sell many of my much loved gems.

My ebay feedback speaks for itself so rest assured that you are buying from a trusted seller and in the very unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase just e-mail me and I'll sort out the problem. I offer a "no quibble" refund policy.

On the subject of postage, I take great care in the packaging of all items, using a proper vinyl cardboard mailer along with at least two cardboard stiffeners. I take great care in removing the record from the outer sleeve in order to prevent sleeve damage in transit and I always insert the vinyl, outer sleeve and inner into a clear plastic sleeve, thus adding further protection.

For this item postage & packaging will be Royal Mail 1st class : UK £3.00, continental Europe £6, and Rest of the World £9.

NOTE that for items selling for more than £40 to non-UK bidders I insist upon international tracking and signed, which will add a further £2-£5 (dependent upon location) to P&P costs, so please do not pay until I have invoiced you. If in doubt then email me beforehand for a P&P cost for your country.

I do discount post & packaging costs for multiple purchases. I do NOT profit from postage.

Good luck with your bidding! Richard
