 NIRVANA IN UTERO

Issue : 1st PRESS        Label : GEFFEN       Catalogue No : GEF 24536 



This 1st press is on the black and silver Geffen label. It is complete with the very earliest 1A1/1B1 matrix, the lyric printed inner sleeve and light sheen sleeve. 


The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has a sensational gloss, there is no whitening or signs of wear to the grooves, there are just a couple of extremely light wispy marks on both sides. The Geffen label is completely clean. The colour is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is only the slightest spindle wear.


The lyric inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The white is very clean and bright, the black is solid and the text is sharp. The edges are firm and the sleeve is still very solid.


The sound quality is Excellent. The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Superb clarity and separation. There is occasional very light hiss but it does not spoil the enjoyment of this album at any point. It plays exceptionally well throughout.


The sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The cover image is still superb, very clear and sharp. The text is unworn and the colours are bright. The back is also unworn and very clean. The whole sleeve has it original light sheen and is still extremely solid.
