NIRVANA "LOCAL ANAESTHETIC" Unofficial exact reissue of RARE Vertigo LP from 1971. 6360 031. M-/M Nicely done private pressing reissue of the ultra-rare 1971 British psych/prog LP by Nirvana, not to be confused with the late 80s Seattle punk band fronted by Kurt Cobain. This band actually sued the better known group & won an out-of-court settlement of $2000 thus allowing both entities to continue using the name w/o any disclaimers. This, their 4th album, was fronted only by Patrick Campbell-Lyons, the Irish half of the duo. Alex Spyropoulos was back in Greece & unavailable at the time. This album is impossibly hard to find in its original edition on British Vertigo- it was never released in the U.S. Consisting of 2 side-long tracks & produced by Patrick Campbell-Lyons with the participation of Jade Warrior, Mel Collins & many others.

Cover (by Keef) looks great in M- condition. The only flaws keeping it from a MINT grading are very slight corner "dings". The record has the distinctive black & white Vertigo "swirl" label on side A with the titles & credits listed on side B. It has received very few plays & retains its sheen. It is in MINT condition w/no scuffs or scratches.
