Description
NIRVANA 'LOCAL ANAESTHETIC' is an LP that was recorded in January 1971, & came out on the Vertigo Swirl label, 6360 031.
It is in EXCELLENT condition throughout.
Side 1: MODUS OPERANDI; Side 2: HOME, a salutation, b construction, c destruction d re-construction e fanfare.
'November 1968, Greek Street, London - Alex Spyropoulos, Ray Singer and myself - NIRVANA IS CONCEIVED. Enter Muff Winwood, Jimmy Miller and Chris Blackwell - 'Tiny Goddess' and 'Pentecost Hotel' emerge and later 'Rainbow Chaser', which opened the door. But beyond the door was only darkness.
Two years and two albums later, I have found and given birth to the real NIRVANA. The child, which I give to you, is called LOCAL ANAESTHETIC. It is alive with love and honesty, but it is mentally unbalaced'. Patrick Campbell-Lyons.
MODUS OPERANDI was written recorded and produced by Patrick Campbell-Lyons and Patrick Joseph Kelly at Island Studios in 1970. HOME was composed by Patrick Campbell-Lyons.
