Description
This is the Rare 1991 Original Pressing Limited 7" Split 45 with Nirvana doing a kick-*ss cover version of
"Here She Comes Now"by Velvet Underground on one side and on the other side
"The Melvins & Buzzo & Dale Crover doing their version of the Velvet's "Venus In Furs."
We sold our blue-gray colored-vinyl copy of this last week and now our best friend has asked us to sell her
original Purple colored-vinyl copy as well. Time to send this one off to a new good home!
As you can see, this is purple with some pink & white marbling.
This is " A Communion Label Project: Comm 23." The Communion Label; Atlanta, Georgia.
These were pressed in several different colors. I'm not positive how many of these were pressed.
I've read about 1000 total and I've also read 1000 of each color.
On inside sleeve it says "Limited Edition Of...(how many we can sell)."
All I can guarantee is that our friend is the original owner of this record and she bought this as soon as it
came out back in 1991.
It is definitely guaranteed to be an original copy and not a bootleg or reissue.
She has taken very good care of this. There are no skips. There are no scratches that I can see.
Overall, this plays fine although I do hear a little crackly surface noise during the first 5-10 seconds of each side.
Apparently some surface noise is common with colored vinyl.
The paper sleeve also looks nice. As seems to be common with this because of the relatively cheap
paper quality, the thin paper sleeve looks a bit wrinkly, even from very careful handling and storage
in a plastic outer sleeve.
Not a big deal but I thought I should mention it.
Please "Super-Size" each image for best looks.
