NIRVANA MELVINS split 7" COMMUNION RECORDS YELLOW MUSTARD ORIGINAL 1991.
Here we have an ORIGINAL 1991 copy of Nirvana/Melvins split single on Communion Records where Nirvana do Here she comes now and Melvins do Venus in Furs.
I have owned this record since it was first released. Please see my feedback to show that I don't sell bootlegs or re-releases of Nirvana or Grunge/Punk records dressed up to be the original thing.
This copy is on YELLOW or MUSTARD marbled coloured vinyl. (I also have this record on Purple and Blue, but don't need to sell those yet)
Please see the following link for pressing info. I 'think' there were around 1000 copies pressed originally, opinions vary as to whether that meant 1000 in total, or inclusive of all colours.

Considering that this record is 30 years old and that the sleeve is quite literally paper thin, it's actually in very good condition, there is some ring wear to the front cover when held up to the light, but the record and vinyl have been stored separately for years.
Obviously I will have played the record at some point since I owned it and had no idea back in 1991 that it would be so sought after in years to come. I always take care of my records and even those days I did. 
I would grade the sleeve conservatively at 8/10. I'm not going to grade it any higher than that as it's obviously not NEW!! I wouldn't give any old record/collectable a higher grade than 8-8.5/10 as it's been in a metal record box for 20 odd years.
The vinyl VISUALLY looks lovely BUT and please read this CAREFULLY....I HAVE NOT PLAYED GRADED IT. If I was being honest, I don't recall ever playing it, BUT that doesn't mean that I haven't, so please, please bear this in mind,  I CAN NOT grade it as grand/lovely etc as I don't have a record player now. I will conservatively grade it as 7/10 (that will be other people's 8 or 9)
Please be assured I will never over grade a record, I'd rather say it's 7/10 and you be pleasantly surprised and happy, than say it's perfect or 9/10 and you be disappointed. I'd rather have a good reputation.
I appreciate that the pictures provided aren't exactly brilliant and clear, but I'm just an idiot from a past generation with a poor quality camera who is selling due to circumstances.
I'm happy to ship worldwide, but please remember that shipping from UK to USA and Australia takes about 2-3 weeks and the price is extortionate for a very average service. I will pack it well so that it survives any kicking about in transit.
The cost to post it in UK will be £4 tracked and insured.
Postage to the rest of the world will be something like £15 for International tracked and insured.  I don't ever try and make money out of postage costs, but I've discovered recently (to my cost) that it costs loads to ship a record safely abroad now.

7 September UPDATE,,,,, It has kindly been pointed out to me that Yellow and Mustard are actually different variants of this pressing, they are NOT one and the same. I had revised the title of the auction now as this is DEFINITELY a YELLOW copy when seen in natural light, it is too bright to be a mustard copy. Sorry for any confusion.
