Description: This is a very cool, very RARE split 7” 45 from NIRVANA & THE MELVINS. It was a limited edition, coloured vinyl (this one is an opaque blue/green) release on the Communion Label from 1991 (Comm 23)! That label was doing a series of albums that were all VELVET UNDERGROUND cover songs and of course this was a part of that. NIRVANA cover the Velvet’s “Here She Comes Now” while THE MELVINS do “Venus in Furs”. The vinyl and cover are both in great M- shape. The scan doesn't do justice as the cover is in NM shape. I lightened it in order to make out the black printing on black stock of the Nirvana side of the single.
