NIRVANA & THE MELVINS split 7" record, picture sleeve, on Communion Records, Comm 23.
Two tracks: Nirvana: "Here She Comes Now", and The Melvins & Buzzo: "Venus In Furs". Both are Velvet Underground covers.
Sleeve has some minor ring bending at the sides, and three corners have small bends. The photo of the Nirvana side isn't that great in that I found it hard to get a picture that got the black nature of the sleeve while also getting the greyscale image at the lower left. Be assured it is black. The photos do accurately show the ring bends from the record. It's extremely light stock. Record has been played 1-3 times, and is excellent. No markings from turntable spindles on either label. There are tiny surface marks at the outer edge on each side. Not sure if it affects play. Not going to play it to find out. I know this is a minor 'holy grail' item, so I want prospective buyers to know all of the flaws I can see. I'm won't over-grade in order to sell. In sum- not mint, but very nice.
Don't be shy about posting a bid! Sometimes I've had several records come and go with several watchers, but no bids. At least take a shot at getting it for the minimum!
I am parting with the record collection. I used to really treasure the records, but space is at a premium, and I'm happy to move the artifacts to good homes.
