Description

Nirvana, In Utero, Genuine U.S. Promo Press Kit (August-September 1993, DGC). 

The Press Kit includes: three-page stapled history of the band (on DGC letterhead), one original 8x10 glossy promo photo (NOT a reproduction), and a printed copy of the 8.29.1993 Chicago Sun-Times article on the new album (the article includes an interview with the band). The reason why DGC decided to include a Chicago Sun-Times article in the press kit is because of Chicago-based sound engineer Steve Albini. 

In the late Summer of 1993, In Utero Press Kits were sent to radio stations and music magazines in order to promote Nirvana’s upcoming album. The official release of In Utero was on September 13th, 1993.

I purchased it in the late 1990s from a collector. It's hard to find the complete In Utero press kit nowadays.
