Description
This is an overall very good and RARE original US pressing copy of the debut LP by British psych-pop band Nirvana, released in 1968 (the year after it came out in the UK). The record is very much a product of its time in subject matter (it's subtitled "A Science Fiction Pantomime") as well as sound, but it's an enjoyable one for fans of the style. The jacket's main flaws are a 1” tear and water damage along the spine on the back cover (see photo). It also has a cutout hole; heavy creasing in one corner; corner, spine, and top seam wear,; and light ring and bottom seam wear (VG-). The disc has lots of scuffing and hairline scratches/scrapes, and some stains, and it plays (in the many parts that I sampled) with light to moderate surface noise and some mostly light pops (VG).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
