This is a very nice copy of the very rare third Nirvana LP Dedicated To Markos 111 issued in 1970 on the Pye label NSLP 28132. The RRPG lists this at £125 mint. For a detail of the condition of this record please see below. I would rate the cover as VG whilst the vinyl itself is extremely close to EXCELLENT. I NEVER list a record as MINT unless I know it has not been played ( how can it be mint if it's been played?) Popsike shows the last similar copy sold for £72  in 2006.

Regarding the style of music, well it does not feature the theatrics and raw energy of Oh What A Performance nor the psychedelic sounds of Rainbow Chaser, It's more a transitional album towards the sounds featured on the Vertigo album 'Local Anaesthetic'.

The cover, as stated above, I would describe as VG. There are a few laminate creases, some scuffing around edges, a slight imprint of the record shape and the back is a little bit dirty for want of a better expression! it is the original flipback sleeve with no writing and no stickers.

The inner sleeve is a plain white one.

The vinyl is very close to EXCELLENT. There are the lightest of surface marks just about visible. The labels are clean with possible the lightest of one spindle mark on side 1. There are NO stickers and NO writing. I have play graded this record and it sounds GREAT. there are some static noises but I've had this from records straight from the shop. I use a Technics deck with a Technics P24 cartridge.

So to summarise:- A decent cover to start off with until a better one comes along. However I see NO reason to have to upgrade the vinyl.

Quick background

Infants school 1960 aged 6 other kids sung nursery rhymes to teacher, I sung Living Doll. Aged 10 first electric guitar and lessons 10/- each. Failed miserably. Also aged 10-12 Dad took me to East Ham Granada for Pop music tours, saw Roy Orbison twice and Stevie Wonder twice. Missed the Beatles ( I think but not sure now as I understand that they supported Roy Orbison!) but saw the Stones-could not hear them though ‘cos of the screaming!. Through my Dad I met Glen Mason and Ronnie Carroll and got their autographs- now sadly lost. Got Cliff Richards autograph at the Palladium when he was Buttons in Cinderella. (Yeah lost that as well!?) First record (I’mThe) Lonely One by Cliff Richard,. Started collecting singles aged 14, got a few demo's from my local youth club including Shadows and Reflections by Action for nothing. Started going to free concerts Parliament Hill Fields and Hyde Park ( Blind Faith, Pink Floyd (echoes), Grand Funk Railroad < I taped all the Humble Pie Concert and still have my copy of it>, Stones) (bear in mind I was a Skinhead at the time!). Missed my hero Jimi Hendrix and played Epitaph by King Crimson the day he died- the saddest and most fitting song I know. Started going to paying concerts again, Groundhogs,  Oval and first Charlton concerts,.David Bowie,  Zeppelin, Faces (x4) Hawkwind (x4), Home, Atomic Rooster, Roxy Music, Ten Years After, ELP, Focus, Who ( x4), Santana, Uriah Heep (Best live concert at the rainbow EVER!) Chuck Berry, Babe Ruth, Heavy Metal Kids, Stray, Hackensack, Elton John at Watford with Rod Stewart and supported by Nazareth., Curved Air, Home, Reggae Meets Soul tour and some others lost in the mists of time. Had tickets for Zeppelin in the Midlands, couldn't make it and threw tickets away! saw them at Ally Pally. Resold Zep's Live at Blueberry Hill DLP for £4 each after buying wholesale for £2.50. Bought Bolan's 'The Wizard' for 10p mint from a Chemist down Fleet St. Bought Led Zep's Whole Lotta Love UK from a friend at work for 50p. Intensified singles collecting and some LP's. Started collecting Harvest singles ( down to last 11 now-oh and don’t believe the bull s**t from ‘experts’ that demo’s are rarer, the non-hit singles are EASIER to find as demo’s). Got Married (seen David Essex a dozen times at least now! Oh and two autographs AND a picture with the wife!), sold Marc for £10 to Vintage Record Centre and 5 Tyrannosaurus Rex singles (not demo's) for another £10. Kids caused a very quiet period but did manage to get D'yer Maker and Communications Breakdown. Opened Market stall selling records ( unsuccessfully really) ended up selling two Zep singles to Japan for £90 each. D'yer Maker got nicked off of my stall. Gradual build up of records since and, thanks to Ebay and Record Collector, a vast increase in knowledge. Sold Loads of records to Vinyl Experience. Met some great people along the line as well.-salutations to Setsuko in Japan, Steve P in Wales, Brian Chris, Mark, and Jes from Harwich and Dovercourt.and many, many others including all my customers. Oh and two fingers to the people that nicked my records, Ebay dealers that put incorrect photographs of items being sold and describe records as mint-with marks and paw prints, sell Jimi Hendrix ‘Signatures’ on records that came out after he died and people that claim to have posted a record which doesn’t turn up then don’t even chase the Post Office for a refund!-you know who you are!
