PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
Along with the first Hendrix LP, this is the album that changed the way the guitar was played. The sheer power and aggressiveness of tracks like Eruption came at you like a locomotive doing 200 miles per hour. Unleashed to an unsuspecting public way back in 1978(!), this was the sound of metal taken to the next level. This original pressing on the Warner Brothers palm tree label (subsequent pressing were on the tan "shield logo" label) comes complete with original red hype sticker, high gloss, full color printed inner sleeve and even has the original $6.00 Rolling Stone Records (represent, Chicago) price sticker with iconic balloon lettering!!!! LP is a beautiful near mint minus and cover is still in the original shrink wrap. Sealed is the only way you will find a nicer copy of this rarity. You will not be disappointed.
