Here are two vintage Specialty records from my collection offered up for sale: Larry Williams' 1957 album "Here's Larry Williams", and "Original Rock Oldies Golden Hits" features additional Larry Williams song "Slow Down" plus GREAT songs by Sam Cooke, Little Richard, Loyd Price and more!
First: "Here's Larry Williams", this an early 1970's re-pressing with the heavy vinyl and black and yellow labels, released SP-2109 (mono). This is an album of Larry's hit songs with the classic Specialty sound mix. GREAT songs including Bonie Moronie, Lawdy Miss Clawdy, Dizzy Miss Lizzy and more!
This heavy weight record rates NEAR MINT, is super clean and glossy, pristine, looks rarely played, has been very well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with excellent sound, clear sound and quiet in the quiet spots! The labels are NM, super clean and bright, only a couple spindle marks!
The cover also rates NEAR MINT, is super clean and bright, edges have minimal wear and are solid, no splits, no tape, binder edge is NM and readable, no signatures or writing, clean! (see all pictures).
PLUS: "Original Rock Oldies Golden Hits", released in 1970 SPS-2130 Stereo. This vinyl rates EX/NEAR MINT, is super clean and glossy, one side pristine, the other has only a couple faint marks, looks minimally played, has been very well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays from start to finish with excellent sound! The labels are super clean and bright, only a few spindle marks.
The cover rates strong VG+, is clean and bright, edges have minimal wear except top edge has a bit of light wear, no splits, no tape, binder edge is NM and readable, no signatures or writing, back has a small section of slick missing at the edge and has both corners cut, clean!
