About This Record. See my other Blues 45rpms for sale, including 20 by John Lee Hooker. I'm selling part of my Blues collection and almost all of these are in exceptional shape as I have upgraded them over the years and treated them with care when I played them. Blues 45rpms like these are usually trashed.
This is an original copy of John Lee Hooker's 45rpm on Galaxy Records from 1963 featuring "I Lost My Job" b/w "You Gotta Shake it Up and Go" and . . . This is the ONE and ONLY 45rpm issued on Galaxy Records by him. Battle was a subsidiary of Chess Check Cadet, and issued this with a "Distributed by" Chess Check Cadet factory innersleeve. Now how cool is that? I grade conservatively, but always offer full refund including shipping both ways if for some weird reason you are not satisfied. Another tough one to find for sure.
Just ask yourself: 1: Have you EVER seen one of these? And was it in nice condition? Your chance as my whole 45rpm collection by him is up for sale (NOT my LPs).
I combine shipping in the USA for $4.00 but PLEASE please WAIT for my invoice. I can no longer refund you if you pay too much postage because of the new eBay Managed Payments Program that makes it almost impossible for me to do that (Aarrggh!).
Cover: No PS; never was one. But the Chess etc. Records inner is included and in pretty nice shape!
Vinyl: Near Mint (NM)
Labels: Very Good (VG). Would be Near Mint (NM), but there are X's on one side and a giant promo sticker on the other side; see photos.
Shipping: All my 12" LP records come carefully packed after I clean them on my KL Audio Ultrasonic Record Cleaning Machine and place them in a new rice-paper sleeve equivalent so they will be ready for you to play.
