KISS – Killers Released in 1982, Killers is a compilation album by the legendary American rock band KISS. While primarily a collection of hits from their earlier career, the album stands out for including four new studio tracks recorded specifically for the release: “I’m a Legend Tonight,” “Down on Your Knees,” “Nowhere to Run,” and “Partners in Crime.” These tracks, produced by Michael James Jackson, marked an effort to revitalize the band’s commercial appeal in the wake of declining popularity during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Stylistically, Killers represents a bridge between KISS’s classic hard rock sound and the more polished production that would characterize their work in the 1980s.
