Here is a vintage original BEATLES album on their Apple label from my collection offered up for sale: A vintage 1968 1st Apple pressing of The Beatles classic release "SGT PEPPERS LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND" in very well cared for condition inside and out! This album includes a vintage Pepper insert! Originally released in 1967 by Capitol, this is the first Apple pressing released in 1968 SMAS-2653 Stereo, label has the perimeter print "MFD by Capitol Records Inc" and logo, indicating it's a first pressing. The record grades NEAR MINT, is super clean and glossy, a pristine disc, looks rarely played, has been very well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays GREAT from start to finish with outstanding sound quality, clear sound, quiet in the quiet spots, super minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! The Apple labels are clean and bright, no signatures, only a couple of spindle marks! The deadwax reads: side One SMAS-1-2653 F21 3 and a tiny sun symbol, side two MAS-2-2653 H20 3 and a tiny sun symbol. The vintage gatefold jacket rates EX, has deep colors, edges and corners show minimal wear, no splits, no tape, binder edge is readable, no signatures or writing, back has light ringwear (all lyrics readable), binder edge shows a bit of discoloration looks like from storage, looks minimally handled! Includes the custom "Sgt. Pepper's" insert, is on heavy weight paper, is showing some handling wear with corner bump to top, no stains, no writing, no tears. (see all photos).
