Up for auction is a RARE FIRST EDITION LP of BING CROSBY'S CLASSIC CHRISTMAS ALBUM.
***COVER: Grades NM (Near Mint)- White front and back with only slight shelfwear. Solid black print and bold front colors. Original liner notes and graphics on back cover (both deleted from later issues).
***Cover is housed in original 1955 shrink wrap with sticker seal marked "Safety Seal - Factory Fresh".
***VINYL: Grades NM (Near Mint)- Ultra-clean labels, solid silver printing, super clean vinyl...played only for testing....NO SURFACE NOISE!!! Pure and "dry" mono sound (no reverb)!
***This pressing is on "Decca-Lite" vinyl. First pressings of this album were pressed on polystyrene as opposed to conventional vinyl. The flawless condition of the record itself makes it quite rare and highly collectible.
In addition, this record comes from the estate of a collector who bought and stored THOUSANDS of records from the 1940s, 50s and 60s...a majority of them never played, some played very little. An exceptionally rare find, consisting of all first-issue items, purchased new at the time of original release, not reissues or later copies. A very rare find and truly outstanding collection!
