Description
Very rare red Japanese mono pressing of Yellow Submarine
Why this record is special:
• True Mono: In the 1970s and 80s, most Yellow Submarine LPs were stereo. These Japanese EAS red vinyls were cut using the original UK mono master tapes, making them famous for their superior sound quality.
• The "Red" Tradition: Japan's Toshiba-EMI often pressed early/limited editions on red translucent vinyl as a mark of quality (and a nod to their 1960s "Everclean" vinyl that resisted static).
• Limited Run: The 1982 version was limited to roughly 10,000 copies
Vinyl is graded as Near Mint
Looks like it has rarely if ever been played
Centre spindle labels are Near Mint
Sleeve is graded as Excellent+ with just some very light shelfwear / age related wear
There is a small old price sticker on the front which I am not removing in case it damages the cover
Original Japanese insert is present and graded as Excellent+
Overall this is an exceptionally good copy of this rare pressing
