Here a vintage original album from my collection, offered up for sale: An Original 1st pressing of The Rolling Stones "Some Girls" with cool Andy Warhol designed art work on cover and inner sleeve, cover looks minimally handled, vinyl looks rarely played! This is the BANNED COVER that got them in trouble for not having permission to use the photos of Marilyn Monroe, Lucille Ball and others. The lawsuits stopped the presses and the inner sleeve was changed resulting in the ugly and more common "under construction" version of the inner sleeve). This one has that banned inner sleeve, cool! This is the classic "Stones" released in 1978 on Rolling Stones Records COC-39108 Stereo. This cover rates strong EX, is clean, has great color, no wear to die-cut edges, no splits, no tape, no signatures, the binder edge is EX and readable, all edges and corners solid, looks minimally handled! The custom inner sleeve is clean, great color, great edges/corners except had small bottom center split neatly repaired with non-yellowing tape. The vinyl rates NEAR MINT, is super glossy and clean, pristine, looks rarely played! PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish! The cover is a BEAUTY and a conversation piece!
