Description

Here is an album from my collection offered up for sale: Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd's popular 1977 album "Street Survivors", released by MCA 3029 Stereo. This is an early 1977 1st pressing with the tan labels and "flames" cover, has insert with TOUR DATES that were never to be, Survival Kit hype insert, inner sleeve, COMPLETE. This is the original cover design that was recalled, from before the tragic plane crash, subsequent pressings have photo with blackened background on front. Music features great songwriting and harmonic guitar work, songs "What's Your Name", "That Smell", "I Know A Little (about it)  and more, GREAT album!


The vinyl grades NEAR MINT, looks minimally played, only a couple small light marks on side one, labels have minimal spindle marks. PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish! Inner sleeve is clean and bright, no seam splits.   


The cover rates EX-, is clean and bright and looks minimally handled ~ the binder edge had split with fraying but has been neatly taped and is still mostly readable, the front has beautiful color to haunting portrait of band, inside gatefold clean and bright, no stains, no cut-outs, back has only very light ring wear, looks minimally handled inside and out! Both inserts are excellent, clean and bright, look minimally handled. (see all 12 photos)


Will be shipped in plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in "throw away" paper sleeve outside the cover to prevent cover splits.
