The Beatles vinyl 12" LP, "Abbey Road", Apple Records # PCS-7088, Stereo, Original U.K. pressing, dated 1969, is a True First Pressing, made in England, has the laminated Garrod & Lofthouse cover that was only found on early releases of this LP. The Stamper numbers YEX 749-2, and YEX 750-1, are reportedly from the earliest Pressing run. This Extremely Rare LP initially sold barely anything since LP's were also really expensive for most people back then and therefore had a very small run and is now incredibly hard to find. “Abbey Road” is a stunning collectible example of The Beatles 1st issue, released by EMI/Apple records on 26th September 1969 on the Custom Side 1 dark green Apple label, with 'Apple Records' label rim, 'Mfg in UK' label text and without ”Her Majesty” credited to the Side 2 record label. Both Record Labels are in immaculate Near Mint condition, without any noticeable wear, discoloration, writing, or spindle marks. Both sides of the LP are in beautiful NM condition, stunningly bright and glossy vinyl surfaces to both sides, without marks, scuffs, writing, but only a couple of very minor scratches which do not affect the playing quality. The LP plays through all the tracks with a perfect sound quality: no pops, sticking, jumps, and without any detectable crackle. The sound quality is simply Superb with no distortion and no groove wear, either. The record must be considered Near Mint grade if not closer to a grade above and comes in its original plain white inner sleeve which only has a few minor wrinkles at the corners and one minor seam split. The original and immaculate Garrod & Lofthouse Picture sleeve, featuring the aligned Apple logo on the back side, is in AVG+ brilliant condition, with a “squiggly worm” imperfection in the laminate, right behind John, during manufacture, and the original price/ identification sticker on the top right corner. The back cover is also in the same AVG+ condition, otherwise a beautiful sleeve with no spinal wear, rips, tears, splits, annotations, and writing, and only slight corner wear, but is still very flat looking. The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely any feathering. I also have two other rare, vintage Beatle LPs, “Magical Mystery Tour” and “Hey Jude”, from the same era and in the same condition, also up for sale, as shown in the last photo. If you’re interested in all of them, it would save shipping cost by combining the purchases. I use secure record mailers and always ship vinyl outside of the jacket to prevent seam splits
