here is the one you want

vinyl :  NM Unplayed. original heavy weight 160 gram pressing (the most common weight for a vinyl record is 120 grams). No scuffs/scratches and No spindle marks [T-2047]  (does not say "Subsidiary of" in perimeter text on label) In stores January 20th 1964, not a absolute difinitive die-hard FIRST pressing but an original release day pressing none the less.  Black rainbow label or course. The anticipation for the record was so high that it took more than one initial pressing to be prepared for opening day sales (subsuquently, many were played to death , burnt in a bonfire or the cover was tacked up to the wall and the records were kept loose and destroyed). This record, as identified by the matrix numbers was in fact in the store on the actual first day this album was available (January 20th, 1964) and was pressed out of the Capitol records pressing plant in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I believe this copy was originally purchased out of a Chicago record store. (so I would call it an original "Release-Day Early-Pressing" to be completely accurate) please refer to the images of post-it-notes for the matrix numbers.  I want to hold your hand is the only track to list BMI with publishing rights. all other tracks on the label show ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers)

cover : VG+ original cover, Cover is very solid. It has the number 3 on the back bottom right. It has 4 inches of wear on the bottom right. The rest of the seams are very clean. Minor ring wear. Damage to the back top left in the shape of a circle, it looks like sticker damage. no ascap on cover

inserts : VG+ no splits very nice. original release BLUE "caution/Duotone" stock Capitol liner sleeve (but the Record is in a new plain paper sleeve behind the cover in a Double poly bag)

Grading:

 I use the Goldmine Grading System

"P"  "G"  "VG"  "NM"  "MINT" with "+" and "-" to add precision.

"MINT" only exists if record is sealed and still perfect.

"NM" I will very rarely use this grading, most of the NM records I naturally round down to NM- to not disapoint)

 "VG+" is a  really nice record with only a few issues. VG+ is NOT a MINT copy and there could be up to three light noticeable marks and maybe a little more if the marks are faint scuffs or other marks that will not significantly affect the sound. It will howevor be glossy and clean. I only grade a record NM- if there are no regularly noticable marks and any marks that will be there will be faint, minimal, or hard to see.

 

As Always, You should wash every record you buy (even the brand new just opened records) before you play them,  it will sound richer and your needle will last longer. (I do clean many of the records I list before I grade them
