This album was The Beatles FIRST release on the now famous Apple label. It was entered into the charts on the 7th of December 1968 and went straight to number one-where it stayed for 7 weeks! Making it the FIRST double album to get the top slot...EVER!
The rather unusual fact about this album is that it was the first release by The Beatles which contained only SOLO material.
By the time 1970 ended, the total sales of this wonderful album were estimated to be 6.5 Million! However...get this...The only other album that beat this a few years later was "Saturday Night fever" !!!

PLAYED ONCE! By me, so I can record the track you can hear above.
In fact-I decided it was so good, I digitally recorded the whole album :)
So as you can imagine the sound reproduction will be as close to perfect as you can get...No significant marks to any side of the vinyl-Just light hairlines, where an angel has gently trodden...hardly any at all!!
Just dust and finger prints!!

ONLY PLAYED ONCE-So NO trace of spindle marks on any label!!
They are the silver and black 1 BOX EMI variuation.

WOW - WHITE.
Only a couple of very insignificant, minimal creases....See if you can spot them in the detailed images provided....
The inside of the gatefold does have some ages spots-that is all.
Side opening with "The Beatles" embossed on the cover.
"Stereo" to the back top right corner in light green print.
Excellent strong spine.
Only the slightest of slight knocks to the corner

Just simply: FANTASTIC.

Inners:  Near Mint!! Original 'jelly fish' inners. They are both incredibly well looked after and have NO sign of ageing.
They have rounded endings and one straight edge, which is where the opening is (which makes me think of jelly fish)
Only very light creasing-that's it!

THEY ARE ORIGINAL AND SUPERB

Pictures: The four pictures are NEAR MINT AND ORIGINAL. They DON'T even have any pin-holes...Which was quite typical for the Beatles fans to pin their beau's up on their bedroom wall.
Lovely and bright.
Beautiful white backings too!
To be ultra critical, there is a tiny bend to one of the corners of John-about 1cm in length-that is it!
NOT EVEN AGE DISCOLOURATION
 THE BEST EXAMPLES I HAVE EVER SEEN!!

Poster: Near Mint!!!! Full size and with lyrics to the back.
No feathering to the corners...they're still lovely and sharp. Not even any holes to the central fold, NO pin holes.
Some very light ages spots-that is it!
