Legendary classic. I’m sure you know this compilation is an essential piece of NO WAVE movement from the late 70’s. Produded by BRIAN ENO. It’s the original first pressing, released on “Antilles/Island” records in 1978. The legendary “No New York” sampler includes 4 tracks by CONTORTIONS titled “Dish It Out” / “Flip Your Face” / “Jaded” and “I Can’t Stand Myself”. Also TEENAGE JESUS AND THE JERKS which includes Lydia Lunch on vocals appear on this classic LP. These tracks named “Burning Rubber” / “The Closet” / “Red Alert” and “I Woke Up Dreaming”. You can also hear 4 mindblowing blasters by D.N.A. titled “Egomaniac’s Kiss” / “Lionel” / “Size” and “Not Moving”. At least you can also listen to “Helen Fordsdale” / “Hairwaves” / “Tunnel” and “Puerto Rican Ghoust” by MARS. The vinyl is in near mint condition (superclean copy). The sleeve is still in excellent condition
