Description
These unusual 13" discs feature performances of Noel Coward's music including one by Noel Coward himself. I think they were intended for radio broadcast and may not have been heard since their original broadcast (circa 1946).
There are 17 discs, and they come with their original metal box for protection.
The records feature songs and instrumental music by Noel Coward and apart from the recognisable voice of Noel Coward himself, I think other performers may include a young Joyce Grenfell; and Graham Payn, Coward's companion of 30 years, though I can't be certain as the discs are not labelled.
Please note, the records vary in condition from VG- to E . a couple have 'flakes' on the run-in area, but do not affect play. They all play from beginning to end, but are quite scratchy and distorted in places.
Even so, I have included 3 sound files which I have treated with a de-clicker. I listened to the 17 records and identified them as best as I could:

2- "Dearest Love" (Noel Coward) - male & female vocal duet / Ditto (alternate take abandoned after male singer has vocal problem)
3- "Poor Uncle Harry" (Noel Coward) - Noel Coward / Blank
4- "Never Again" (Noel Coward) - male Singer / Blank
5- a) Spanish style tune b) 6/8 tune - Anon. orchestra / Blank
6- "Dearest Love" (Noel Coward) - female only version / Ditto (alternate take abandoned after 3 mins)
7- "A Room with a view" (Noel Coward) - male & female duet / Blank
8- Medley (possibly an overture) - Anon. orchestra / Blank
9- "Dearest Love" (Noel Coward) - male & female vocal duet / Ditto (alternate take abandoned after male singer has vocal problem) (appears to be duplicate of record no.2)
10-Medley (possibly an overture) - Anon. orchestra / Blank (appears to be duplicate of record no.8)
11-"Poor Uncle Harry" (Noel Coward) - Noel Coward / Blank (appears to be duplicate or alt. take of record no.3)
12- "A Room with a view" (Noel Coward) - male & female duet / Blank (appears to be duplicate or alt. take of record no.7)
13- "I believe" (? maybe wrong title) (Noel Coward) - female singer / Blank
14- "Children of the Ritz" - female singer / Blank (appears to be duplicate or alt. take of record no.1)
15- "I believe" (Shorter version) (Noel Coward) - female singer / Blank
16- "I believe" (Shorter version) (Noel Coward) - female singer / Blank (appears to be duplicate or alt. take of record no.15)
17- "We must all be very kind to Aunty Jessie" (Noel Coward) - female singer (Joyce Grenfell?) / Ditto (alternate take abandoned after 20 seconds)
I will post these records anywhere in the world, but they are heavy! Postage will probably be quite expensive for this weight, but I will charge only what it costs me.
