Description

NOFX Liberal Animation 1988 ORIGINAL PRESSING on Wassail Records! NM with insert SUPER RARE PUNK ROCK!
SINGLE OWNER: From the collection of Gary X Indiana. Obtained in San Francisco from the band around the time it was released. Owner knew them "when" - can recall Mike from before NOFX, actually.
From Wikipedia: Liberal Animation is the debut album by the American punk rock band NOFX. It was originally released in 1988 through Wassail Records, which was Fat Mike's label before Fat Wreck Chords. Brett Gurewitz [of Bad Religion] produced the record, and even offered to release it on his label, Epitaph Records. The band decided to self-release it instead. It was re-released through Epitaph Records in 1991 with all new artwork.
CONDITION: Lightly played after it was acquired, then put back in the pile, and forgotten for decades. Played once more to digitize, that's it. Vinyl: EX/VG+. VERY minor scuffs on both sides. 1 tiny patch of superficial scratches on "Mr. Jones" (see pic). None of that is audible. Minor surface noise in the intro to side B and in the acoustic guitar segment at the beginning of 1st track (Vegetarian Mumbo Jumbo).  Cover: M-. In pristine shrink that's only been slit open. A few tiny bumps on edges of opening. Barely perceptible bends on lower corners, no creases.  Inner sleeve: NM. Minor wrinkles. Insert: M. (Mea Culpa: Original version of this listing mistakenly over-graded the vinyl, sorry!)
The nice clear pic of the front cover, without shrinkwrap, is from Discogs. Item specifics from their listing:

Note to the lucky auction winner:

Severe weather is forecast for Indianapolis from the latter part of Wednesday, through Thursday. That will probably hinder a trip to the post office (which is necessary to get correct postage, insurance, etc). The best opportunity for prompt shipping is up to mid-day Wednesday, so please consider when scheduling your payment. Otherwise, it may go out on Friday (depending upon your payment). This isn't to suggest you rush payment, just an FYI for you. Thanks & good luck!
