Description
This is the rare and very hard to find, 180gm deluxe vinyl, very Limited Edition of 500 copies Worldwide, 2006 release of No-Man's SPEAK album on the Tonefloat label with the catalogue number TF24.
It comes in a textured, deluxe gatefold sleeve and has the two Tonefloat die-cut inner liner bags (one of which has a small tear from transit), as well as extensive sleeve notes and stories from SW and Tim plus a contribution from Dann Chinn from Misfit City. The item is classed as used because of the damage to the liner bag plus there are tiny creases on the sleeve corners from transit wear, but I'm being picky, it's immaculate, as you can see from pic.
These tracks were written and recorded on an analogue 8 track reel-to-reel machine during 1988-89. For release on LP these tapes were cleaned up, remixed and new vocal takes recorded. The exceptions are Curtain Dream and Night Sky Sweet Earth which are newer versions recorded in 1999. This particular issue was remixed in 2004 and released on vinyl here.
The album is the darker blue marbled vinyl, bonus 12-inch is lighter (obviously!) and they are both in mint and unplayed condition. The bonus 12-inch has the full near 12 minute version of THE HIDDEN ART OF MAN RAY.
