Italian pressing, Firmamento FM-8 (1970)

Holy Grail alert! Breathtaking session by Nora Orlandi and legendary jazz drummer Franco Tonani plus Antonello Vannucchi (of I Marc 4) at Piano\Organ, directed by Giancarlo Gazzani (Feelings library) and Robby Poitevin. Easily the best and most solid Italian lounge library with amazing bossa, cinematic lounge and lounge funk tracks led by the superb wordless vocals of Nora Orlandi plus an uncredited Alessandro Alessandroni providing some stellar warm vocals. The whole record is great, not a weak track! Side A, written by Nora Orlandi is more easy and lounge featuring, among the others, the little bossa monster PAN DE AZUCAR with superb Piero Umiliani style Alessandroni\Orlandi scat vocal conversations. Side B, written by Franco Tonani, is very groovy and funky with three killer Morricone-esque lounge funk tracks with heavy drums, groovy "I Marc 4" hammond and loads of female scat vocals and chorus! Killer record, listen!

Cover: VG+, pretty clean with just a tiny but serious wear just on top right corner.
Record: Looks nice VG+ with no major marks but some of the tracks (especially A1 and B1) play with moderate background noise. Listen clip.

Grading scale (strict gradings): M, M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G.
