NORAH JONES Not Too Late 2012 200g Vinyl 45+33RPM 2LP Test Pressing QRP MISPRESS
Norah Jones - Not Too Late (Analogue Productions)
2012 mispressed 200-gram test pressing of audiophile 2LP reissue with one disc that plays at 33-1/3 rpm and one disc that plays at 45 rpm. Generic QRP test pressing labels on sides one and three have sticker with catalog number (5099963877816), artist, title, and side delineations printed on it. Plain white labels on sides two and four. Includes generic white covers with information sticker at top right corner on front.
This test pressing is from a proposed 45 rpm version of the album has never been released. The only officially released version of this title from Analogue Productions at the time was a standard 33-1/3 rpm 200-gram pressing. Obviously having one disc play the full album at 33-1/3 rpm and one disc play half the album at 45 rpm wasn't anyone's intention, so it was deleted. It is unknown whether QRP ever pressed a 45 rpm "disc 1" from this set, but clearly that's why this never made it to full production.
